People buy from and do business with people…(it’s as simple as that). This is especially true when it comes to building an audience for your blog and relationships with your readers. I am not sure why it took me years to figure this out, but hey, I guess as the saying goes, it’s better late than never.

You know that I am a sucker for tech tools and stuff right? Well, some time ago, a good friend of mine Fabrizio Van Marciano of Magnet4Blogging.net introduced me to a WordPress plugin that would completely change the way I generate leads, create my sales pages, build landing pages and practically any type of landing page for my blog.
That WordPress Plugin is none other than Thrive Content Builder. Alrighty, fair warning as things are about to get a little techie now.
Let me guess, you’re one of three people: you’ve recently started a new small business and you’re ready to start building a personal brand and get your message out there to the masses.
You’ve been running your business for a while, but you are not sure how to establish a true “brand” for your business online.
Are you struggling to figure out how to make the web work for your small business? Are you confused about what to do and what to focus on first?
I mean… there IS a lot of noise out there on the web today and it makes it all very confusing for small business owners that are new to the internet.
Did you know that you only have 15 seconds to make a good first impression to your site visitors? Yep, that’s what an article written by Tony Haile uncovered via the Time Magazine. If I can be transparent here for a minute, when I first started building websites and blogs I wasn’t doing it the right way. Let me explain…
“I’m not a designer”, “Photoshop makes my eyes glaze over”, “I want to create visually stunning graphics that attract the right audience to my brand”
These are some of the frustrations that I hear over and over again from fellow entrepreneurs that want to step up their design game but are not sure how to do it. Well folks, I’m just going to state for the record that I struggled with these same issues for a while, until I launched this brand earlier this year.
Over the past few weeks, I have been on a podcast listening binge. It has seriously been non-stop. I have honestly been waking up listening to them and going to bed with my nook reader on hand… (listening to them).
I had an interesting conversation with a good friend Sarah the other day. Sarah is currently working in corporate America, she’s unhappy and she wants to start her own business online. Sure, Sarah is fully aware of the 90% failure rate of most online businesses, but she is ready to move full steam ahead with her business. I decided to check in with Sarah months after she launched her business online.
So you’re ready to get serious about blogging for business? I don’t blame you not one bit because blogging is serious business. You’ve probably heard about all the benefits of blogging for business, but you’re still on the fence. I can tell you first hand from experience that blogging is in fact a very effective marketing and tool for small businesses – if you are consistent with it and blog with a purpose.
You’re a new small business owner that wants to build a brand and web presence on the internet — but you’re overwhelmed with all of the information that’s scattered across sites online. I get it! That’s why I’ve decided to create this practical guide that covers the basics that you will need to get started with building an impactful digital presence for your small business that makes it easy for customers to find you + access information about your business.
